His song writing skills and boundless high energy performances blur the lines that separate Jump Blues, Rock,and vintage Rhythm & Blues, creating an experience that can only be had at a Gorillas’ show. As a matter of fact, he’s almost as good as he thinks he is! Rick has had a major label deal (Sony Records), a management deal, and several independent releases to his credit.

He finally had to build something that could withstand the kicking, spinning and tossing that his trademark aluminum bass endures on a nightly basis. Funny, unpredictable and infectious are all fitting descriptions of this superior showman! Crusher has played with Sleepy LaBeef, the Razorbacks, the Rockats and was the founding member of the Crescent City Maulers.

Jim is the real thing! Back in the day he cut his teeth working only the finest seedy strip joints between his hometown Boston and New York City. One of the few old school honkers on the planet, the Gorillas are swingin' and rockin' harder than ever before with Jim in the band! Armed with a sardonic wit and more than a few musical surprises up his sleeve, Seltzer Jim is a Gorilla par excellence!!! Jim has played and recorded with Sleepy LaBeef, Steve Lucky, Hubert Sumlin, Junior Watson and former President Bill Clinton, to name a few.

Snake grew up in Denver and arrived in New York via Bourban Street in New Orleans. In that time he managed to keep the world safe for Democracy while cutting his teeth playing guitar with the Navy Band. His other projects include New York's own Blue Saracens and saxophone great Lew Tabackin. Recently, Snake abandoned all hope of a normal existence when he became a full-fledged Gorilla (first class). You're in the deep end of the pool now, Kid. Keep swimmin'!

Eddie is a killer drummer and a five star Gorilla! In addition to his fine skills as a musician, he's got mad tattoos and one hell of a fine wardrobe. It's the little things, Folks! Eddie's played venues all over the world performing with artists like Brian Setzer, Wanda Jackson, David Bromberg, Tommy Conwell and The Rockats. Oh, and he's got a cool name...EDDIE EVERETT!!!
