With a killer voice and a dangerous stage presence, Rick Fink
(after successfully fronting rock bands for years) found his true calling
when he formed the Gas House Gorillas. His song writing skills and boundless
high energy performances blur the lines that separate Jump Blues, Rock,
and vintage Rhythm & Blues, creating an experience that can only be had at
a Gorillas’ show. As a matter of fact, he’s almost as good as he thinks he is! Rick
has had a major label deal (Sony Records), a management deal, and
several independent releases to his credit.

A monster guitar player and a terrific showman, Dean continues to set
his inner Gorilla free on stages across the country. Ronnie Earl,
referring to Dean’s mastery of Blues guitar, called him an “encyclopedia”.
We call him lots of other things. Some of them nice! Dean has had the
honor of playing with well known roots musicians that include Greg Piccolo,
Ronnie Earl, Hubert Sumlin and legendary Sax player Eddie Shaw.

He's back!!! Named “Crusher” because of his penchant for turning a perfectly good instrument into kindling, Carmean is a thrill to watch. He finally had to build something that could withstand the kicking, spinning and tossing that his trademark aluminum bass endures on a nightly basis. Funny, unpredictable and infectious are all fitting descriptions of this superior showman! Crusher has played with Sleepy LaBeef, the Razorbacks, the Rockats and was the founding member of the Crescent City Maulers.

Jim is the real thing! Back in the day he cut his teeth working only
the finest seedy strip joints between his hometown Boston and New York City.
One of the few old school honkers on the planet, the Gorillas are swingin'
and rockin' harder than ever before with Jim in the band! Armed with a
sardonic wit and more than a few musical surprises up his sleeve,
Seltzer Jim is a Gorilla par excellence!!! Jim has played and recorded with
Sleepy LaBeef, Steve Lucky, Hubert Sumlin, Junior Watson and former
President Bill Clinton, to name a few.

Born in West Orange New Jersey, Noel is a top flight musician who has played with Pharoah Sanders, David “Fathead" Newman, Big John Patton, Steve Guyger and a veritable who's who of Jazz & Blues. As the newest Gorilla, Noel has had to put up with much ribbing from his more "seasoned" cohorts. He takes it in stride, as he lays down a solid, swingin' groove that could make a dead man dance.
